Whitestone homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Whitestone, NY, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
We've replaced enough botched patch jobs from other companies to know exactly what corner-cutting looks like a year later — drywall stains, soft decking, mold nobody can see yet.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
Faster arrivals because we're already close by.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
If the water coming off your downspouts looks gritty, the shingle surface is thinner than it should be.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
A gap that lets light through will let rain through eventually.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Whitestone job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Whitestone, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Downed branches, torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingles all fall under our emergency response scope.
Our residential scope covers shingle repair, full reroofs, ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing fixes.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Scheduled maintenance catches loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them urgent.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Whitestone crew.
A technician walks the roof and, when accessible, checks the attic side for the full picture.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
None of these reasons are unique claims in the roofing industry on their own — what matters is that we actually deliver on all of them together, on every Whitestone job.
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
If something unexpected turns up mid-job, like hidden decking damage, we flag it and get your approval before it changes your bill.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Whitestone, NY so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Whitestone waiting.
Because our crews already know Whitestone's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
Coverage decisions are based on actual drive time from the nearest staged crew, not a fixed distance line on a map.
